This combination doubles the amount of upstream bandwidth made available to the user, which is up to 10 times faster than the standard ADSL based business broadband services. High-speed upstream data transfer By increasing the upstream speed to 2.5Mbps, Pipex Business Broadband users can experience faster and smoother data transmission allowing your business to fully utilise broadband multimedia applications such as VoIP, video conferencing and other real-time applications. Users may experience a minimal decrease in downstream bandwidth when using this service. Availability Pipex Enhanced Upstream is available to customers who connect to an exchange that has ADSL2+ technology installed. This is currently 55% of the business population. Enhanced Upstream is only available with Pipex Pro and the Pipex Premium Plus broadband packages.
